8 x 8 Homosote sheets were transformed and therefore explored deeply. The nature of this cellulose based fiber wall board material is tested using lab knife, table saw, clamp, sending paper and water.
I was particularly interested in the texture qualities of material and how those qualities could be changed, but I also cutted the 8 x 8 sheets using a table saw. Obtained form is the box that has a volume of 2 cubic feet and the wholes we see are the actual imprints of metal clamp. Tool is here used to build the sculpture, to carve the shape, and not to strength or hold things together as clamp usually does.
